Fashion Stylist- For those with panache

fashion-stylist_40526746088088_1.jpg Fashion stylist, personal shopper or fashion consultant- all these terms quite obviously indicate one single field. The field is that of fashion. If you just look around yourself then you can find that with time fashion has conquered our life and psyche in a large manner. So why not turn this knack towards fashion and style into your profession? There is no need to be surprised. As a matter of fact, fashion stylists are highly in demand.

Firstly let us see who a fashion stylist is. A fashion stylist is NOT someone who can only portray his or her personal style. Fashion stylists can always mould themselves into any brand of fashion- right from Classic to Goth. Needless to say, this requires an inherent knack for fashion and style. Along with this a knowledge about different brands of fashion is must. Having a degree from any of the good fashion schools can always help, but you can never move far if you do not nurture an eye for fashion. Those who love to look their best even at the smallest occasion and love to think over the different ways in which a garment can be styled and accessorised, then this is just the right career option for them.

Sports Journalism - an emerging field

Sports journalism, an established and popular career option in the West for quite some time is fast catching up in India as a viable profession for young people who want to tread a path that's a little less travelled. You can either focus on one particular sport or try to specialise on different aspects within a given field.

Common work activities of a sports journalist include:

· Attending games and sporting events in order to prepare an accurate and first-hand account that effectively represents the progress of a game or event.
· Writing interesting, informative and original stories on various aspects of sports, from analysis of statistics to predicting winners.
· Networking and building contacts in the relevant circle.
· Provide accurate and up-to-date information on various aspects of the sport.
· Undertake research to provide background information for articles.
