Win over the Winters

128840717932143700_40561770034788_1.jpg It is that part of the year when most of us are chilling. Get the pun. Alright since I am not that good with puns, let me come directly to the point. Before winters take a harsher toll on you, it is better that you start using your grey cells to beat this cold. Since there is no season better than winters for experimentation, it is important to fight the chill with panache. In this article I am addressing mainly to the girls. Think beyond your sweaters and sweatshirts. So below are a few ways through which you can enhance your winter style quotient.

Layering: Learn to layer. This is the best time when you can do so much of experimentation with layering. Rather than wearing one thick boring sweater, wear two or three light cardigans in distinct styles. Make sure that the cuts of each and every cardigan are visible. It will surely make you look stylish and different.

Cardigans: Cardigans are back and how! Yes, if all of you think that cardigans are boring then do rethink. They are one of the most versatile winter wears that one can ever get. You can close all the buttons and wear something sleeveless on it to give a different look.

Fashion Classics

We live in a world where everything is in flux. Change is inevitable. However there are certain things that can survive the forces of time. These are the things that we call classics. Classics can also be synonymous to what we mean by all time favourites. We have our favourite movies, songs or clothes. When it comes to fashion the same thing is applicable. Just have a look at any of the fashion magazines- you can see columns like “what's in vogue” or “what's in”. Our idea of fashion gets shaped by new film releases, fashion shows and also by various fashion icons.

However is it really possible to update your wardrobe with every changing trend in the fashion? Of course not. Everybody cannot afford to lead life in the manner that celebrities do. Then what should be the best way out to maintain your fashionable image and not get broke in doing so? Stick to the fashion classics. These are the clothes that never get out of fashion. It is also mandatory to have at least one of these in your closet. Sorry boys, this time the fashion classics are dedicated only to the girls. So here goes the list of some of the attires that every girl must have.

Footwear Trends this Summer

5007_40301734189888_1.jpg

Not everybody gives to footwear the same degree of importance on the fashion scale. It is merely an accessory for some while a utility for others. So whereas a considerable fortune is often spent on clothes and adornments there are only a limited number of shoes and sandals in a person's possession. A brown pair and a black pair and maybe another fancy pair of sandals plus flip-flops. We are talking about women's footwear of course.

But however much you may harp on comfortable brogues, there is something beyond just being sensible. For femininity is something that women love to flaunt – whether it is in the arch of the eyebrow or in the toe peeping out of charming covered stilettos. Listed below are five footwear fashions that are creating waves this season.

High Boots - Knee high or thigh high boots in leather, suede, shearling, drap, lace or silk with round or tapering toes are being paired with short dresses, minis, skinny jeans, tights, or even long socks. Colours vary from olive green, maroons, brown, black, grey, and even gold. But be very sure that you have 'the' legs to go with it.
